The Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) has published a range of case studies to showcase examples of best practice in the insolvency sector.
These case studies illustrate how insolvency practitioners and industry bodies have demonstrated best practice in culture, integrity and moral compass through the matters they have handled. This forms part of AFSA’s commitment to help the practitioners we regulate by providing clarity around their obligations and opportunities to learn from others’ experiences.
The case studies also help promote proactive compliance and engagement within the personal insolvency system, a key focus for AFSA.
AFSA strives to be a firm and fair regulator and world-class government service provider. We focus on making compliance as easy as possible by providing clear, accessible information and systems that are simple to use.
We will continue to build our library of best practice case studies and encourage submissions from insolvency practitioners and industry bodies. Submissions can be sent to PractitionerSurveillance@afsa.gov.au
