During bankruptcy, you must tell your trustee when your circumstances change.

Ensure your details are current

Some of your obligations when bankrupt are you must tell your trustee if you change your:

  • name (you need to provide evidence) – this includes if you are known by a different or additional name (alias)
  • address (residential or postal)
  • phone number
  • email address
  • employment or income
  • number of dependants.

Inform your trustee

If your bankruptcy is administered by a registered trustee, contact your trustee.

If your trustee is the Official Trustee (AFSA), notify us using the below forms:

If you would like someone else to discuss your bankruptcy or update your details, you must inform your trustee.
