Inform your trustee about travel changes

If you already have approval to travel but your plans have changed, you must tell your trustee.

If your bankruptcy is administered by a registered trusteecontact your trustee.

If your trustee is the Official Trustee (AFSA), use the below form to notify:

  • the new dates or destination you're requesting
  • the reason for the change
  • any evidence to support your request (for example, documentation of flight cancellation).

We will assess your request and notify you of the outcome.

A separate application and non-refundable application fee may apply.

Note: If you will no longer be travelling, email us at info@afsa.gov.au with the details.

Inform your trustee when you return from travel

Inform your trustee as soon as you return from overseas travel. If you return after your specified return date (or travel overseas without permission), you could face penalties.

Note: If your trustee is the Official Trustee (AFSA), notify us using the above form.
