APS6 Senior Case Manager

About the Role

The Senior Case Manager (SCM) delivers expert personal insolvency services on behalf of the Official Trustee, managing complex and high-risk bankrupt estates that require strong technical judgement & decision making.

Working within the Estate Administration section, the SCM applies deep knowledge of insolvency law and practice to independently manage complex caseloads, resolve technically challenging matters, identify compliance and enforcement risks, and provide authoritative advice to stakeholders.

The team supports AFSA's mandate by administering estates where public interest considerations apply or where no registered trustee is willing or able to act, helping to uphold the integrity of Australia's personal insolvency system.

While not essential, proven experience in insolvency or relevant qualifications are highly desirable, as the SCM is expected to operate with minimal supervision and contribute technical leadership within the team.
