If you are currently bankrupt and your after-tax income goes above a set amount, you may need to make compulsory payments from your income. For more information see: Income and employment
If your trustee assesses you to make compulsory payments, you can apply for a review of the assessment.
Complete this form if you would like to request a review of your income assessment. You must make the application within 60 days of you receiving the notice of income assessment.
Keeping your information safe
To protect your privacy and help AFSA comply with section 8WB of the Taxation Administration Act 1953, we cannot accept documents that include tax file numbers.
If we receive a document with a visible tax file number, we’ll let you know and ask for a version without it. This may affect whether your review request is considered received within the 60-day timeframe.
