Using Digital Identity with AFSA’s Online Services

If you have Digital Identity and it linked to an ABN, then you can use your Digital Identity to access the online services below on behalf of your organisation.

  1. Creditor bankruptcy notices
  2. Bankruptcy Register Search (BRS)
  3. Debt agreement
  4. Practitioner Annual Administration Returns (AAR)
  5. Official Receiver (OR) notices
  6. Creditor Meeting Advertising

Digital Identity

Digital Identity is a simple, safe, and secure way of proving who you are when you want to access services online. Set it up once, and then reuse it whenever you are asked to prove who you are. One of the benefits is that you don’t need to remember passwords. To learn more about it, refer to the Digital Identity website.

Creditor bankruptcy notices

To access the Creditor bankruptcy notices service using your Digital Identity on behalf of your organisation:

  • Select Login
  • Select Continue with Digital Identity
  • You will be redirected to Digital Identity to authenticate
  • After authenticating, you'll be redirected back to Creditor bankruptcy notices
  • Enter your user/organisation details

Once you complete these steps, you will have successfully created and be logged in to your Creditor bankruptcy notices online services account.

Note: the first person in your organisation who logs on to Creditor bankruptcy notices using Digital Identity will be assigned to the Administrator and Manager roles. Any subsequent person who logs on after the administrator will be assigned to the Manager role. As an administrator, you can execute restricted activities such as update your organisation details and manage other user accounts within Creditor bankruptcy notices. As a manager, you can submit and maintain bankruptcy notice applications.

Other online services

If you have Digital Identity and it linked to an ABN, then you can use your Digital Identity to access Bankruptcy Register Search (BRS), Debt agreement, Practitioner Annual Administration Returns (AAR), Official Receiver (OR) notices, and Creditor Meeting Advertising online services.

This is an alternative option provided to you in addition to the username and password sign in option.

To access these online services using your Digital Identity:

  • Select Login
  • Select Continue with Digital Identity
  • You will be redirected to Digital Identity to authenticate
  • After authenticating, you'll be redirected back to AFSA’s online services

Once you complete these steps, you will have successfully created and be logged in to your AFSA’s online services account.

Note: all Digital Identity users will be provided with an Administrator user account. As an administrator, you can execute restricted activities such as create additional username and password employee accounts and manage these accounts.
