Please join us for an information session on:
Improving compliance outcomes through Official Receiver notices and enforcement activity.
The sessions will primarily explore our role in assisting trustees achieve positive outcomes in estates they administer.
Compliance is important to us all and these sessions will look at the Official Receiver’s coercive powers coupled with the Inspector-General’s role in investigating offences.
Topics covered include:
- the benefits of using Official Receiver notices to achieve outcomes in bankrupt estates
- AFSA’s enforcement role—successes and issues arising from offences referred under the Bankruptcy Act 1966.
If time permits, we will open discussion on additional topics of interest.
As we are focussing on benefits and successes rather than process and procedure, the sessions are aimed at Registered Trustees and their senior staff, but we are happy to welcome anyone with an interest in bankruptcy outcomes.
We will conduct information sessions in major cities nationally.
For those trustees in regional areas who can’t attend a major site, you are also very important to us and we would be pleased to consider alternative options for delivering the sessions to you. Please make contact with us and we will determine how we can facilitate this training for you and your staff.
