At AFSA, we want our information to be clear, concise and easy to use.
Late last year we released a revised version of the ‘Personal Property Securities Registrar Practice Statement 4—Amendment Demand Process’ which is shorter, simpler and uses plain English.
You provided us with some great feedback and based on that, we’ve developed another document to complement this, called ‘Registrar’s Practice Statement 4a – Tips for sending an Amendment Demand’. This provides seven key tips on disputing a registration; how to send a valid amendment demand and what you can do to help achieve a quick resolution. We’ve also included some examples, which show what an amendment demand to remove a registration or amend a registration could look like.
You can see the Registrar’s Practice Statement 4a on the PPSR website (www.ppsr.gov.au).
We look forward to continuing to work with you to make our information clear and easy to use.
