Last year we commenced a process to review the Statement of Affairs (SoA), the form that people need to complete when they apply for bankruptcy, or if they have been made bankrupt by a creditor.
We invited feedback on improvements to a revised version and then a further enhanced version late last year. We would like to thank everyone for taking the time to provide us with their views. Working with stakeholders in this way has been essential to hear a range of views and a host of suggestions for an improved form and experience for people who need to complete it.
We expect the new form to be implemented early next year. AFSA will provide further information on the implementation closer to that time. See Bankruptcy Online - what's changing to preview the updated form.
